At Calvin, everyone and every group is involved in Pastoral Care. We see it being done through the work of various groups and committees, food projects, receptions, newsletters and so much more!

More specifically, Pastoral Care is provided through our Pastoral Care Coordinator, Linda Blahey; and the Pastoral Care committee by:

• Visiting, calling, cards and prayers
• Hospital visiting
• Sending birthday greetings and posting birthday lists
• Mailing sermons and bulletins weekly to those who can no longer make it to the worship services
• Supporting the Worship & Music committee’s Cassellholme Services
• Placing a rose in the sanctuary commemorating new births
• Keeping connected with local nursing homes and area senior residents
• Posting items of significance on our bulletin board (pictures, newspaper clippings, etc...) and then collating them into a scrapbook
• Placing bulletin and newsletter announcements
• Acting on the needs and requests of the congregation and community

It is because of our love for God and our belief in Him that we are able to do His work and feel truly blessed. And so we begin with faith and gratitude!
